NOTICE OF NOMINATION

At a meeting held at Anstruther Church on Wednesday 5 August, the Nominating Committee chose the person whom they wish to propose to the congregations of Crail linked with St. Adrian’s East Neuk to be our new minister.  The name of the person proposed is  the Reverend Jake Lehman BA, MDiv.

Arrangements have been made for the Reverend Jake Lehman to conduct public worship on Sunday the  23rd  day of  August in Crail Church at 10am and in Pittenweem Church at 11-30am.

Immediately after each  service, there will be a vote on whether or not the Reverend Jake Lehman should be appointed as the new minister of the congregations of Crail linked with St. Adrian’s East Neuk.  Anyone whose name appears on the Electoral Registers of these congregations of Crail linked with St. Adrian’s East Neuk shall be entitled to vote.  No-one else shall be entitled to vote.

David D. Scott
Interim Moderator

oooOOOooo

The Revd. Jake Lehman BA MDiv was an American Lutheran minister for sixteen years.  He has become a Church of Scotland minister and is just completing his familiarisation placement at St. Ninians Old, Stirling.  He is married to Melissa and they have three school-aged children.

Any member/adherent of St Adrian’s East Neuk who has difficulty accessing Pittenweem Church because of mobility/health problems can attend the early service at 10am in Crail Church.  You will be able to hear the Rev Jake Lehman preach and cast your vote.

The service in Crail will be live-streamed but if you are unable to log in to the service at 10am (crailchurch.com) it will be available later in the day to view on their Youtube Channel.  Unfortunately only people who attend in person are eligible to vote.
